Haze and Transmission Test Machine Introduction
Haze and Transmission Test Machine is also called haze meter which measures the amount of light that is diffused or scattered when passing through the transparent sample.Transparency is important because a material needs to be more or less see-through depending on its practical usage for example grocery bag needs the light to be more diffused so that less can be seen,while food packing film needs the light to be less diffused so that the contents can be seen clearly.Haze meters are necessary to determine which material is needed for which practical purpose.
CS-700 haze meter is designed for plastic, films, glass, LCD panel, touch screen and other transparent and semi-transparent materials haze and transmittance measurement.
Haze and Transmission Test Machine Working Principle
When a beam of parallel light hits the sample and enters the integrating sphere, it is scattered on the sphere inner white coating, the total transmittance is measured when the optical trap outlet on the sphere is closed. When the optical trap is opened, haze will be measured.
